OnDuty: A Behind-The-Scenes Look at a New Smart Police Mobile App

Back in September of this year, Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure acquired the intellectual property rights to commercialize OnDuty, a revolutionary new suite of police mobile applications that was developed in collaboration with the New Zealand Police.

OnDuty is designed to provide unified access to information from various police systems. It allows officers to easily receive alerts, view information, update statuses, complete paperwork, and attach multimedia files from their mobile devices in the field without having to return to the station

In this HxGN TV episode, APAC Marketing Director Fiona Quill discusses OnDuty with Duncan Kennington, one of Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure’s key architects behind OnDuty. During the interview, they discuss how OnDuty streamlines workflows and reporting, improves intra- and multi-agency collaboration, and optimizes police productivity. Enjoy.
