Pure Force and Rescue Serves Growing Public Safety Needs in Philippines

Home to nearly 100 million people, the Philippines is located in the heart of a large typhoon belt in the Pacific Ocean. The country has been struck by major storms, violent earthquakes, and other natural disasters in recent years. Like many countries with large urban centers, the Philippines also experiences crime.

For a country accustomed to natural disasters and crime, the Philippines lacked a nationwide emergency telephone number and centralized emergency response system, which made the coordination between law enforcement, fire, and emergency response agencies difficult at local and national levels.

Sensing a great need for their country, Pure Force and Rescue Corporation (Pure Force) – a private initiative setup to support public safety and emergency response in the Philippines – was formed to improve the daily lives of every Philippine citizen, and to build safer and more secure communities.
