What’s Involved in the GTAA’s Incident Management System at Toronto Pearson International Airport

In 2018, the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) selected a suite of software solutions from Hexagon to improve incident and work management at Toronto Pearson International Airport. What Software Solutions Are Involved?
GTAA will use Hexagon’s computer-aided dispatch system, records management system, application integration platform, mobile apps, and analytics software to improve operations and collaboration. The implementation will fully integrate these solutions, so it creates a seamless record of all events within the GTAA’s incident management system.

Who Will Utilize the Solutions Implemented at Toronto Pearson Airport?
Toronto Pearson is Canada’s largest airport, having served more than 47 million passengers last year. Hexagon’s solutions will comprehensively support services at the airport, including airside services, customer service in the terminals, fire and emergency services, security operations, snow removal and grounds maintenance, and safety compliance. The dispatch system will also integrate with partner organizations for incident management across jurisdictions, including Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services, Peel Regional Paramedic Services, Peel Regional Police, and NavCanada.

In addition to the integrated organizations that are streamlining data processes with the help of Hexagon’s solutions, some of the 400 companies that operate at Toronto Pearson will be utilizing the new systems. These companies will recognize increased operational efficiency across the airport ensuring Toronto Pearson remains among North America’s safest and most well-run airports.
