Why Police Departments Are Moving to the Cloud

Last week, American City & County published an article about cloud migration and adoption trends by police departments. As stated in the article, the latest International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) survey suggests police departments are motivated to move to the cloud for cost saving reasons. But that is only part of the story.

David McDonald, vice president of public safety for Intergraph, was interviewed for the article and confirms cost saving measures as a major factor for the move.
